| On August 31st at approximately 4pm, Paris time, the vehicle in which the
Princess was traveling involved in a high-speed accident in the Palace de l'Alma underpass
in central Paris shortly before mid-night on 30 August. Diana was finally declared dead
after two hours of emergency surgery. |

Diana will be remembered always in people's hearts as a remarkable woman
of beauty, charm, intelligence and diplomacy. She touched the hearts of all who knew her
and she will be greatly missed. We all believed that Diana's love for life and her legacy
will live own forever, especially in the hearts of her sons.
